Over a year ago, I was screwing around with a digital camera and figured out a way to activate the movie feature. My youngest cat was flipping out at the time, so I shot some footage of her and narrated a phony aussie accent in tribute to Steve Irwin. It was also during this time that I figured out how to work Movie Maker on my system. Seriously Bent was born.
Some weeks after that original footage I opened a YouTube Account, uploaded the file and figured I would make a series of these. So I took improvised footage with very little written script and uploaded all of it for worldwide viewing. I complete 10 of these and am set to close the series off with number 11 in the early part of 2009. This has inspired me to pursue some short film work and I may continue doing this kind of thing down the road. It is weird humour to some. But since I and a few others found it funny, I kept on going. I had a blast doing this and appreciated the support from viewers.
